Our range of twin wall flue products in black are completely interchangable with the stainless steel parts, as the only variation between the parts is the finish
About our Twin Wall
Our Twin wall system is manufactured by German suppliers Jeremias, and with over four decades of experience, rest assured that are you are recieving the best in heat insualted liners. The twin wall system is made from 304 outer and 316 inner stainless steel, with a thickness of 0.4-0.6mm and packed with rigid mineral wool insulation.
Installation
PLEASE NOTE THAT THE SIZE OF TWIN WALL ADVERTISED IS THE INTERNAL DIAMETER, AND THE EXTERNAL DIAMETER WILL BE 2 INCHES LARGER THAN THE INTERNAL
FOR EXAMPLE, A 1M OF 6" TWIN WALL HAS AN INTERNAL DIAMETER OF 6 INCHES, AND AN EXTERNAL DIAMETER OF 8"
All of our Twin Wall products are the lengths specified, but as an installed length, you will lose 50mm on each part as it connects to another piece
Our twin wall is designed in mind to give you a hassle free installtion and with the push and fit mechanism, this allows for seamless integration of pieces in the same size bracket.
Each piece of twin wall that is either a length, bend or adaptor is supplied with a locking band to connect it to another piece of your twin wall installtion to ensure that a safe connection is established between the parts.
A minimum clearing distance of 60mm from any combustable materials must be maintained throughout the entirety of your installation.
When using the twin wall system, no more than four bends/offsets should be created as adding multiple/unnecessary bends can severely interfere with the heat flow.
When taking the twin wall through a roof, you must conform to the building regulation standards that state that the flue must be either 600mm above the ridge of the property or 2.3 meters horizontally from any weathered surface.
General Notes
You cannot attach the twin wall directly to the outlet of your appliacne as the insulation within the liner prevents a direct connection with your appliance, thus the use of an adaptor is essential.
If going through a wall, joints between pieces of black twin wall flue are ill advised unless no alternative can be made.
