The importance of making sure your chimney is secure, was highlighted with stormy weather causing property damage.
Strong winds have been blamed after a road was closed when high winds blew off a chimney stack onto the road below.
Firefighters had to be called as authorities closed the road to ensure the structure was safe, and an inspection carried out.
A Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “We were alerted in the early afternoon to reports of a chimney collapse in a busy street.
“Operations Control mobilised two appliances to the scene where firefighters removed a chimney pot from the roof of the building and cleared debris from another
“Crews left after ensuring the area was made safe.”
